ABOUT OUR HOME, MORRIS PLAINS, NJ
K&B Home Remodelers is happy to provide the community of Morris Plains NJ with their range of exterior remodeling services! Please feel free to explore our top services and why we are a leading contracting company in the area.
ROOFING
Roof Algae appears on roofs as unsightly dark stains and streaks, and can really detract from the beauty of a home. The cause is a species of bacteria called Gloecapsa magma. The bacteria feeds on moisture and calcium carbonate, and over time, and the right conditions, can severally stain a typical asphalt roof.
Atlas® Roof Shingles with Scotchgard™ prevents the bacteria from forming and discoloring your new roof. By encasing copper granules with a porous ceramic coating it allows the copper ions to release slowly over time thus inhibiting any biological growth to form. K & B Home Remodelers uses Atlas Pinnacle Pristine® Shingles with Scotchgard™ exclusively.
SIDING
James Hardie® Fiber Cement Siding comes in a variety of profiles, textures and colors. Their Cedarmill Lap Siding is made to replicate the authentic look of wood, while their smooth finishes emulate a painted brushed look. They are available in 5”, 6” & 7” exposures, as well as their Artisan Panel for true mitered corners. Also available from K & B Home Remodelers are Hardie Straight & Staggered Shakes, as well as Board and Batten and vented soffits.
WINDOWS
Fibrex Windows by Andersen™, installed by K & B Home Remodelers offers the strength, paint ability, Eco-Friendliness, ascetics of wood, and enhanced resale value that vinyl windows are incapable of. The durability of Fibrex far outweighs the lower cost of cheap, plastic, hollow vinyl windows. Andersen Sliding Glass Patio doors encompassed all the enhanced features of Fibrex, along with high thermal efficiency.
